Cad Cut Heat Applied Vinyl

Cad Cut vinyl is used for small runs of artwork that is only one or two colors. It is especially good for applying individual names and numbers to team jerseys , T-shirts, and hoody's.

The Cad Cut Viny Process
1) Vector Artwork is prepared and the outlines specified as cut lines

2)The file is sent to a roll cutter that cuts the image out of the appropriate color and type of vinyl.

3) After cutting, all unwanted parts of the parent sheet of vinyl is peeled away ( called weeding ) and the finished vinyl is head applied to the shirt using a state of the art pneumatic heat press that is temperature and pressure controlled insuring a durable seal on the fabric to the shirt.

Save Money

$$$ TIP #1- QUANTITY DISCOUNTS
There are price breaks based on the order quantity( for example at 12, 24, 48, 72 etc) The more you order, the less your price per shirt will be. Shirt decorating is a manufacturing process and the number of shirts made each time effects the price per shirt. There are price breaks based on quantity, that are calculated EACH TIME YOU ORDER, BASED ON THAT ORDER SIZE.. If you order 24 shirts on your first order, and receive the 24 piece discount, then order 5 shirts the second time, the second order will not receive the same discount. If you are gathering sizes from your group or organization, get them ALL before you finalize your order. Give them a deadline ahead of the actual deadline so the inevitable stragglers don’t delay your order, or force you to place  second order costing you extra dollars.

$$$ TIP# 2- PLAN AHEAD
Our normal turnaround to produce an order of shirts is two weeks. Often, we get them done much faster than that. Depending on schedule load, and seasonal forces, orders that need to be done quicker can incur rush charges. These are a percentage of the order total ( ranging from 10% to 100% in extreme cases) and are based on how fast the order must be produced and what hoops must be jumped through to make it happen.

$$$ TIP #3- KEEP IT SIMPLE
Many shirt shops and websites claim they do not charge for setup. A more honest way to state it is that the set up charges are calculated into the per shirt price. Each design that is printed on the shirt adds cost, and each color in each design adds cost. A short run of shirts with multi-color designs in two or more locations will be much more expensive than the same shirt with one design, or all of the printing in a single color.

Must-follow guidelines

  1. Submit PNG or PSD files
We recommend submitting your files in PNG or PSD format with at least 150 DPI.
  2. Use transparent backgrounds
Graphics should have transparent backgrounds. Everything in the file will be printed, so double-check that the background is clean.
  3. Set files to RGB color space
Make sure your print file is set to the RGB color space.
  4. Include correct inside label info
When creating inside labels, include the country of origin, size, and fabric information. This is required by law for all custom inside labels.
  5. Outline your fonts
All fonts should be converted to outlines unless your graphics are in PNG format. That way you don't have to send us the font files.
  6. Remove template guidelines
When using our templates, turn off the guideline layers before saving your files. If you don't turn them off, they'll show up on the print.

Tips for best results

Simply typing in a new resolution into the file won't result in a higher resolution print. If your graphic's resolution is too low, the best solution is to recreate it.

  • Slight discrepancies in print placement are possible.
  • We can't guarantee 100% color accuracy.
